Our technician team consists of 10 talented carpenters. These are the men that will go in and do the job.

Our Managers

David

Owner

David has spent a good part of his life in the Kansas City area. He started in new home construction in the 70's and then moved to the Remodeling/Renovation side of construction in the 80's. He later continued into custom home building. Over the recent years he has been dedicated to just remodeling & restoration. David is a licensed Class C Contractor and IICRC Certified in Water Damage Restoration as well as receiving NARI Certified Remodeler Recognition in 2003. He is married with 2 adult children and 6 Grandkids. He enjoys time with his family and takes pride in cooking for them.

Brooke

Office Manager

Brooke is the office manager. She schedules the initial estimate appointments, prepares the production sheets, answers the phone and does the accounting. She is a photographer, cosmetologist, and mother of 4 kids. All of her spare time is spent with her family, traveling, and helping her daughters care for their horses.

Brad

Production Manager

Brad has an Engineering & Management background, with 20 years in the construction/Renovation industry. His last 5 years with an emphasis in water mitigation and restoration. As Production Manager Brad oversees the active phase of the work. Beginning with a review of the scope of work with the customer, scheduling the crews, supervising their work, quality control and finalizing the completed project. In real life, he has been married to his dream wife, Wendy, for almost 30 years. They have 9 incredible homeschooled children who are embarking on many different phases of life. His main outside interests revolve around family time, his faith and activities that mix both together.

Rachel

Project Coordinator

Rachel is responsible for scheduling, collecting payments, special order items, selections and helping in the office or the field with anything else to help ensure our jobs can run as smoothly as possible. Rachel is a native to the Kansas City area. She is married to her supportive husband with seven amazing children. Rachel is also an independent desk adjuster for an independent insurance adjusting company. She loves the Kansas City Chiefs and spending any down time with family.

Jason

Material Manager

Jason is the Materials Manager at First Response. He is responsible for putting together material lists for upcoming jobs, gathering the material from various suppliers and delivering them to the jobsite before production starts. He is also responsible for returning leftover material and picking up jobsite trash. Jason is an avid car enthusiast, so he likes to spend his free time modifying his mustang and attending car meets, shows, and cruises with friends.

Ken

Estimator

Ken is a graduate of the University of Kansas and Baker University with degrees in History. After leaving the US. Army, he pursued a career in Home/Commercial Construction from 1996 onward. He holds various licenses and certifications in the building industry as well as being a licensed Real Estate Broker and Insurance Agent. In personal pursuits Ken has served as the Mayor of Baldwin City, Kansas, and various other posts with political and volunteer organizations. Ken is the proud parent of 2 children, Abigail and Luke.

Jay

Estimator

Jay is a graduate of Kansas State University with 15+ years in the mechanical and construction engineering professional services industry. Throughout his career, he has excelled in designing and executing complex projects, earning a reputation for his attention to details and innovative problem-solving skills. Jay resides in Overland Park, Kansas with his wife, two beautiful children, and their energetic dog. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling. Jay's dedication to his work and his commitment to his family make him an inspiring and respected figure in both his professional and personal spheres.

Jennifer

Estimator

Jennifer brings her years of experience and knowledge to the remodeling industry as a Design Consultant. Jennifer meets with the customer to consult on their remodeling protects to include Bathrooms and Kitchens. She enjoys helping the customer turn the visions into an exciting reality. Jennifer oversaw many aspects of the family Decorating business for more than 20 years, including consulting customers in their homes with design and remodeling. Jennifer lives in the Kansas City area. She enjoys spending time with family including her German Shepard pup.
